Serbian government widthdrew its proposal to order ISPs to filter content, as part of the new law to regulate online gambling and websites.
Without due discussuions and debate, such proposed legislation which would order ISPs to filter access to any gambling websites. Such legal changes would have had detrimental reprecussions for internet users' digital rights, but also for internet intermediaries such as ISPs, and it would open doors for censorship of all internet content.
ISOC Serbia Belgrade chapter supported the letter and complete legislation analysis carried out by the Share Foundation.
